Homes Company Co., Ltd. is subject to the extraterritorial application of Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) in respect of personal information obtained through this Service for users in Japan, and complies with that Act.
Collected on this Site
Collected at the contract stage Identity documents, occupant details and contract information are collected at the contract stage after your enquiry, based on the notice and consent given at that stage. They are not collected on this Site.
(1) Responding to enquiries; (2) contacting you about viewings, screening and contract procedures; (3) managing member accounts and applying member rates; (4) improving the Service and statistical analysis; (5) measuring advertising performance; (6) preventing fraudulent use; (7) complying with legal obligations (Rental Housing Management Business Act, Act on Land and Building Leases, etc.).
We do not provide personal information to third parties without your consent, except (1) with your consent, (2) where required by law, or (3) to the property owner, trustee, property management company or rent guarantee company to the extent necessary to manage and perform a lease agreement (based on separate consent obtained at the contract stage).

Information on the data protection regime of each destination country and the safeguards we apply is provided when the relevant consent is obtained.
We may entrust the handling of personal information to third parties to the extent necessary. Contractors are contractually bound to appropriate security measures and are supervised by us. Principal contractors: Amazon Web Services (cloud), LLNP Co., Ltd. (development), THEONEDER Co., Ltd. (property management system operation).

Where law requires a longer retention period, that period applies. After the period ends, information is erased or anonymised without delay.
We implement organisational, technical and physical safeguards — access control, encryption of communications, retention of access logs, and staff training and supervision — to prevent leakage, loss or damage of personal information. The date and time of each consent is recorded and retained.
You may request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or suspension of provision to third parties of your personal information held by us. Requests are accepted at the contact point in section 11 and handled in accordance with law.
We use cookies and transmit device information externally for analytics and advertising measurement. Recipients, information transmitted, purposes and how to stop transmission are set out in "Disclosure on External Transmission". You can change your consent settings at any time from the footer link.
